Over the years, the NOCO Islands have become a Fort Collins staple, with water enthusiasts and novices alike taking advantage of the tropical feel in the Colorado sun. That’s why we at Island Lake Marine & Sports are proud to offer our Fort Collins customers different island options depending on their goals and personal preferences. With our dedication to your enjoyment and safety, as well as preserving the island's beauty, we’ve established a list of island rules that encourage all our Fort Collins attendees to enjoy their time to the fullest. We encourage you to read these requirements in full before your island adventure, as there are details regarding parking, safety measures, and equipment use.

Parking

Enter through gate on north side of the lake on Kechter Road. (please see map).

Proceed to an assigned dock (10 MPH) for your group posted on the "Welcome Sign",

Park facing Kechter Road or SW Frontage Road depending on which dock your group is assigned to (park consecutively next to parked cars and do not park parallel).

DO NOT leave valuables in the vehicle.

DO NOT enter or park at Island Lake Marine & Sports. There is no event access from the boat dealership.

Identification/Waiver

All guests 18 years and older will be required to sign/date the Liability Waiver before they can board a boat or go to their group's tropical destination. Guests under the age of 18 years will be listed on the waiver of parent/guardian. Please only list children's name and ages on ONE waiver, otherwise, those names will be counted twice. (one parent signs waiver and lists all children attending the event with them while the other parent signs another waiver and no children are listed)

NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY!!

PARENTS/GUARDIANS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES INCLUDING INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR. IT IS NOT NOCO ISLAND STAFF'S RESPONSIBILITY TO SUPERVISE CHILDREN.

Items prohibited by NOCO Islands (including parking area, shuttle boats, Island Destinations)

NO GLASS

NO MARIJUANA

NO E-CIGARETTES, VAPE, OR MODS

NO TOBACCO/CIGARETTES

NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES

NO WEAPONS/FIREARMS

NO FIREWORKS

NO PETS

NO BALLOONS OF ANY KIND, CONFETTI, STREAMERS, FLOWER PETALS, NUTSHELLS, SEA SHELLS, OR OTHER SMALL OR SHARP ITEMS THAT COULD MIX WITH THE SAND OR LITTER THE LAKE.

Shuttle Boats

Wait for the shuttle boat to come to a complete stop and wait for staff to signal that it is safe to board or exit the boat.

Everyone must be seated while the boat is in motion.

No jumping from the shuttle boat into the water.

Designated Island Destination (Big Island, West or East Side of Big Island or Liilii)

Please stay in your respective Island Destination and do not travel to or use other equipment designated for the other Island Destinations even if they are not being used.

Firepits and Tiki Torches are to be lit (if applicable) by Island Staff Only!

EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO WEAR PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICES (PFD's)

PFD's are provided in designated areas and need to be returned and hung properly at the end of use.

PFD's will be worn properly and buckled completely.

PFD's need to be shared between guests. While we provide a large number of PFD's, we do not provide enough for every guest to be in the water at one time.

Every guest of any age is required to wear a PFD while engaging in any water activity such as but not limited to:

Swimming

Wading

Using canoes, pedal boats, or inner tubes

Using the water trampoline (PFD must remain on while jumping/playing/sitting on water trampoline)

Recreational Equipment

Only 10 guests allowed on water trampoline at one time

Only 3 guests per canoe and guest MUST be seated at all times

Only 2 adults and 2 children per pedal boat and guests MUST be seated at all times

DO NOT TAKE OR TIE UP CANOES or PEDAL BOATS TO THE TRAMPOLINE (Guests will swim out to use water trampoline)

Other Rules

NO SWIMMING ACROSS THE LAKE OR TO THE DOCKS IN PARKING AREA.

NO SWIMMING UNDER THE WATER TRAMPOLINE

NO WATER ACTIVITIES AFTER DUSK

NO JUMPING OFF ISLAND STRUCTURES

NO CLIMBING ON HILLS, WATERFALLS, FIRE PITS, OR IN TREES

NO SWIMMING IN EAST, WEST, OR LIILII DESTINATION LAGOONS

NO FISHING, NOODLING, OR HANDLING FISH

NO NUDITY OR INAPPROPRIATE SEXUAL BEHAVIOR

SWIM DIAPERS ARE REQUIRED FOR CHILDREN NOT TOILET TRAINED

Alcohol

ALL alcoholic beverages will be served by TIPPS Certified Bartender hired by the event coordinator.

The bar is not "self-serve" and guests must be served by the bartender.

Any alcohol brought on the premises by guests is prohibited and will be confiscated.

Any guest under the age of 21 will not be served alcohol and guests over 21 years old are advised to bring an ID to prove age.

Overconsumption will not be tolerated, and it is the client's responsibility to see to it that guests are adhering to that policy.

**NOCO Islands operates on private property. NOCO Islands reserves the right to search bags etc. Guests that are disorderly or acting in a way that is unsafe to guests or staff will be escorted off the property and authorities could be contacted.

Make the Most of Your Time on the Islands in Fort Collins

Your private island adventure begins the minute you enter our premises in Fort Collins. By following directions carefully, you’ll encounter the designated parking spaces reserved for you and your group. After everyone has arrived and parked, a shuttle boat will transport everyone to the designated island; traveling to other islands is prohibited. There are also several safety measures that must be followed at all times, including wearing a personal floatation device properly during all swimming, wading, boat, and water toy activities. Before booking your NOCO Island event, be sure to thoroughly read all guidelines, including our list of prohibited items.
