The warmer season promises many long awaited moments, such as sunny skies, blue waters, and the annual summer camp sessions. Here at Island Lake Marine & Sports, we believe all three of these summer guarantees can be enjoyed simultaneously at Island Lake surf camp. During the three day session, young water enthusiasts will not only learn the ropes of wake surfing but also crucial water safety tips and tricks so they’re prepared for every water adventure the season has in store for them. With a customer centric approach to our services, we ensure your convenience is considered as we offer five different camp dates for you to choose from.
The term “Grommet” originally came from the Australian surf community to describe young surfers moving up through the ranks.
Grommets camp is a three day action-packed learning experience where we will teach
boat safety and
etiquette, but more excitingly how to surf behind a top-of-the line Centurion with the leading wake on the
market. It doesn't matter how experienced or not your kiddos may be, Surf Camp is for all levels! Each
class
size is limited to 8 students so we can provide 1 on 1 attention and break groups up depending on skill
level. 2024 is set to be a big year with 5 different camps.
